‘lsar’.Īs well as editing roles, Nadeko can also be able to greet newcomers - and the greet is able to be customised! For this, you have to use the command ’.greet’ in the channel you want the greets to be in to disable automatic deletion after a period of time, you need to use the command ’.greet del 0’. The commands are ’.iam/.iamnot ’ to remove the role from the self assigning list, you use the command ’.rsar’ and to see the list, use. Nadeko can also make, edit and delete roles (though I haven’t used this feature), make roles appear in the sidebar and make roles able to be self assignable - you can even choose whether they’ll be in a certain group or not! This is helpful if you’re moderating a server for something where people can choose to see spoilers or something. You can also use Nadeko to choose whether the role appears in the sidebar
#ADEKO BOT MOD#
This is extremely useful when you’re a single mod or you’re in a huge server you or the other mods don’t have to chase up new people to assign them the role that everyone in the server has.

Nadeko has the ability to automatically assign roles to new members when they join with a simple command of ’.aar ’. In the servers I use Nadeko, I use it for specific purposes. Some say Dyno still lurks in my servers because I keep forgetting to kick it.
#ADEKO BOT HOW TO#
Well, there are games, it’s just that neither my friends nor I have managed to figure out how to play them on the bot. Nadeko is my favoured bot even though there’s not much to play with. There’s an entire website or something like that for Karen, good bot. You can check the vote and the results with ’t!vote check’. To end the vote, you use the command ’t!vote end’. To vote, people must use the command ’t!vote’ and then the number of their option. I don’t know what they’re called but I’m too scared to try anything else. You then separate your options with one of these: |. To start a poll, you use the command ’t!vote start’ and then, beside it, write ’t:’ and then the question. I only really use one of Karen’s functions to help a chat, and that function is the ability to have votes, one poll per channel! This is what a typical profile looks like: You can change your background, sub title and description on the profile on the Karen website.
#ADEKO BOT PLUS#
You can see your levels, how long you have until your next level (experience is gathered by talking for at least two minutes) server rank, global rank and your reputation plus some more with the command ’t!profile’ or ’t!rank’. You can also set it to send a personal reminder in your DMs, a feature I’ve only used twice but consider useful. Karen also does levels which also carry on in the chat and you can give your friends credit and reputation. No matter what chat you’re in, if it has the bot, you’ll have the same amount of credits. Once you have this bot in a server, you can’t escape.

You can save up and just pretend you’re not a poor person and boast to your friends about your useless credits on this one bot. Karen is a bot that has functions and is fun to play around with it has a currency feature where you can get two hundred virtual credits daily with the simple command of ’t!daily’, and these credits can be spent on badges (and perhaps other things but, as I said, I don’t use all of its features - I need to research this bot a bit more, actually). I’ll get Tatsumaki - I’ll call it Karen for now it’s what I’ve set its nickname to in one server and it’s 3:31, I’m only alive thanks to anxiety and Coke and I can barely type Karen, let alone Tatsumaki - over and done with, as I don’t use all of its features. Nadeko and Tatsumaki are two brilliant bots, either separate or paired together, and I will explain why and recommend a few other bots along the way.
#ADEKO BOT OFFLINE#
Jokes aside for the most part, adding bots to your Discord server can really help you manage the server, especially if you’re starting out or you’ve ended up losing the offline section with how many people are in your server (yes, it can happen, I’ve seen it firsthand, it’s frightening).

Some bots are fun and are only in my server for shits and giggles, some bots actually have a function they carry out and some are bots that were supposed to have a function but the function didn’t work so I replaced them with another bot and either took pity and kept them in the server or forgot. As the admin/creator of fifteen servers and a mod of another four, I certainly know the benefits of having some bots to spice things up.
